Carlos came by to consult about a stump that needed to be removed. He was able to remove it without a grinder in about 30 minutes. Strong as heck and a very friendly guy. I will definitely be calling him for future tree work.

Called at 11am on a Saturday, Fernando asked me to send him a couple of photos of the trees and stumps I wanted removed. Immediately texted back a fair estimate of the price. Crew was at the house within an hour and did a FANTASTIC job. Professional, kind, and courteous. They even cleaned up thoroughly and used a leaf blower. Fernando gave me a good price and his team with a very nice lady named Anna came right on time. Anna drives the truck. They did not start before 8am which is the law and yet they came early to prep. You can tell he is so comfortable up in a high tree and probably loves the challenge. Fernando said that the cutter really like doing what he does and it sure showed. Now this was a huge full tree and I was sick of cleaning our outside steps and cement and now it's shaped, cut and clean looking. My husband came home and approved as well! During the heavy rains last week, a fence that was covered in 20-yrs of bougainvillea (probably 12ft tall 40 ft in length) collapsed in the afternoon into my neighbor's driveway, covering one of his tenants vehicles. Seeing the YELP reviews, I called Fernando and he showed up a few hours later, exactly on time to assess the situation... He gave me a fair price for the size of the job, and then showed up exactly on time the next morning to begin removal. The team was polite, efficient and Anna was there the entire time supervising (Fernando was there until it was only cleanup left to do). The team took the time to bend the fence back into place and secure once all the bougainvillea was removed which was a nice extra (knowing we had dogs to contain). They also removed a few extra stalks from an additional tree and trimmed a Ficus for fair additional price (and did a good job). I will use Fernando and team again and highly recommend Fernando and Any Kind Of Tree Service.

The 86 year old avocado tree that my grandparents planted in my backyard finally gave up and needed to come down. I was so sad to have to take this majestic beauty down, and also ill prepared financially to do so. Not only did Fernando show up within hours of me calling for an estimate, but he gave me a great price. The crew that showed up included his mom, Anna, who totally understood the power of the tree like a member of a family. She and I sat and talked, and she told me about her life and gave me pointers about what had happened to the tree. The crew of guys were respectful, hard working and fast. I cannot recommend them enough. If you have to hire anyone, hire these folks. They're fantastic!

They came in and did a great job on a very tough bamboo root for me. Would definitely hire them again.

I was shocked. We called one day and made an appointment to receive an estimate the next day. Fernando showed up and estimated the job. The price was a bit better than I expected. I asked when he could get to it and he told me that he could have someone out in three hours. The first member of the team showed up when expected. He climbed the tree and started trimming. The other workers showed up with the truck. They were working on my tree for about 4 hours. Before they left they picked up every branch and leaf, and put it all into their truck. The area was cleaner when they left than before they started.

So, they were less expensive than I expected and finished the same day. There is nothing more I could ask for.

All the positive reviews are spot on. Fernando was quick to reply and schedule an appointment for an estimate (I think he even came the same day). Their work was top-notch. I had a bunch of overgrown Ficus trees and negotiated a fair rate.

When they arrived Fernando's mom, Ann(?), explained that the way I wanted them trimmed would look weird because the Ficus trunks would look like bare trunks. She was right, so I requested them cut back even more and they agreed to do it for a fair increase to the cost. It was worth it! The treeline looks more natural and clean now.

The workers were awesome, very careful, and did a great clean-up and Ann was super sweet!

Most of the tree was over their yard. They were conscientious in protecting our house and other property from damage. Very easy to work with. This was a big job. Several large sycamores and a large podocarpus that needed pruning. We do this every two years and they have never looked so balanced and beautiful. Thrilled to have worked with Fernando and his team. They are now our go to for all our tree needs.

What really impressed me was that the roots were close to a sprinkler line and the line was damaged.

Fernando set an 8:00 appointment with us and he/his team was prompt. They were scheduled to pull out four trees (stumps and all). They were finished by 1:25 (including hauling everything away).

We were going to set the job for Memorial Day but Fernando astutely pointed out that my neighbors would probably be unhappy with the noise.

His team did leave behind a root which I partially dug up myself. I contacted Fernando and he came out the next day to pull out the rest of the root. He said he would be happy to come back if we find more. But said he would not dig up our yard to see if there were more roots since he might hit a pipe.

Overall we were happy with his work, responsiveness, honesty and reliability. He was reasonably priced and he is licensed and bonded. I would recommend him and would use him again if the need arises.

On time, well organized, work done well, trimming 20 years off a Yucca Tree, and good cleanup after.

Fernando came out to my house to give me a quote quickly. He was very responsive via email and text and understood what needed to be done. We are in the middle of a major remodel and needed huge trees trimmed in order for DWP to run a line to the temporary power pole. Fernando was able to have his workers come out on the weekend as to not interrupt the house construction crew. Once they started cutting it turned out there was a major bee hive inside the DWP pole in our yard. We had no idea that there was a hive and so we had to stop the work since it can be a huge safety issue. We had a bee person come out and then Fernando's crew came out the next Saturday to complete the job. Everything looked great and was done as promised at a reasonable price.

They were able to start two days later. The crew arrived at 7:30 to set up and started trimming at 8. There were three on the ground and one trimmer. Debris were constantly swept and picked from the neighbor's driveway and flowerbed.

Fernando, Ana and team were professional and did a great job. Trees were beautifully shaped and they left the property in excellent condition. I will invite them back in three years for maintenance. They will work on my son's house next.

This was the first time requesting a quote through Yelp and it was so easy! Any Kind of Tree Service responded almost immediately through the app. I didn't realize Yelp even had chat built in. After approving the price (which included a Yelp discount) he sent his men over to remove the tree branch. They arrived within an hour and left nothing behind.

Fernando was very responsive in coming out to give a quote. His quote was very reasonable. I was able to schedule the work just a few days after receiving his quote. His workers showed up on time and did a great job. They did forget to remove a bamboo shrub, but when I emailed Fernando about it, he said he would come out to have it removed. He came out the next week to remove the bush and even cut back a cypress bush for me! I will definitely be using him the next time I need yard clean up/tree removal.

Fernando did a nice job removing a fallen tree from my back yard. Then he grinded the stump down to nothing. No trace of the tree. Also reconfigured my sprinkler system for better coverage. Once when he was not going to be able to make our appointment time, he called well ahead of time to let me know. That's a big plus for me.

Fernando and his team were great.  He came by and looked at the job, gave me a price he stuck to and showed up when scheduled to do the work.  I wanted a certain look for my Birch Trees which he listened to and was able carry out...and his main guy Jose has a really good eye for how things should look.  Best of all, along the way, he and his team trimmed other shrubs / trees in the yard (asking for my agreement first) that were not part of the original agreement but that he knew needed it (no extra charge).  He was great to work with - would definitely recommend him.
